Capitalism applies to everything except art.

People believe art should be free.

The corporate business model in modern America seems to be:

Proverb

it's better to ask forgiveness than permission

  1. It is better to act decisively and apologize for it later than to seek approval. To act and risk delay, objections, etc.

This is how the companies that started stealing artwork without permission justified their actions.

It's not a crime if nobody goes to prison.

-------------------

Day to day progress of my renders appear on Instagram.

Do not use my artworks without permission, and never use my artwork for any commercial purpose.

-Nothing I create should ever be authorized for inclusion in any third-party AI datasets

-Nothing I create involves pressing a button and telling a computer to draw me a random picture. I understand Ai, and though it can be useful as an artistic tool, please don’t confuse 3D renders as such.

I have learned Ai so that it does not consume me, and remove me from the discussion:

Ai does utilize a lot of computer based logic and randomization, in its current form, it’s not really my thing. I hope it evolves to help with the tiresome, repetition of tasks, for things like cell animation, as long as the artists still control the aesthetics involved with the art.

3D art requires participation in the entire process, from lighting, posing, character creation, character customization, wardrobe, environment, atmosphere, etc. The stage is blank when I start, and nothing magically appears. I don’t type random words and send a request to a machine in the cloud to produce an image. It is much like box art, where you pose your props, light them and take a picture. The results are based on the artist’s vision, and not by chance.

Thanks for the last :+fav:

Take a look in my galleries, there are a lot of cool stuff.

Wish you a good day. Skal

Thank you for the watching.

Thanks - A

Wow, and thanks for all the additional faves! Woo!

Thank you for adding Sabrina to your favorites. :)

Thanks for the fav! Though I’m kinda surprised since you don’t seem to be a big fan of Ai-art.

The companies that create these software packages are dodging taxes, as non-profits, using the shield of research as their excuse. The makers of Stable diffusion have already been sued for copywrite infringement. If someone is using their own work to make the art, it is fine. Ripping off other peoples art is not okay. Profiting from ripping off other peoples art is not okay.

I can’t speak for the companies, nor was I aware of their dodging taxes and etc. That having been said, while I’m still trying to learn more about Ai-art and how it works, I’ve come across a video on Youtube where someone explains the process of how Ai-art is made. And while everyone has their own conclusions and judgments, mine is that AI-art doesn’t steal.

Everything (that I’m aware of) that people worry about regarding AI-art is touched in the video and explained.

If you would like to watch the video, I’d be happy to link you to it! It’s very interesting.
